James W. "Button" Little

James W. “Button” Little, 81, passed away December 29, 2023. He was born October 29, 1942, in Winters, Texas to Ervin Little and Mayme Flowers Little. He served in the United States Army, enlisted August 14, 1968, and discharged with the rank of Captain on April 4, 1972.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and his eldest son, Michael J. Little.

James is survived by his wife, Rita Nichols-Little; his son Matthew D. Little; and his granddaughter, Shannon Little.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Combest Family Funeral Homes. Burial will take place at the Texas Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.
