James Michael Milford

James Michael Milford, 78, of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.  He was born on September 17, 1944, in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas, to the late James Lamar Milford and Betty Lou (Branson) Milford.

Mr. Milford was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War.  He was a car salesman most of his life, before retiring in 2011, having worked at Scoggin-Dickey.  He loved to collect coins and stamps, as well as building trains.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include one daughter, Michelle Dodgin and her husband Shaun of Idalou; two sons, James Gregory Milford and his wife Jina of Lubbock and Christopher Todd Milford and his wife Deanne of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Braeden and Brice Dodgin; two half-sisters, Carol Oxford and her husband John of Anderson, SC and Kathy Hall and her husband Bean of Anderson, SC.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.  Services are pending and will be announced at a later time.
