Janet Elaine Phillips

Janet Phillips of Lubbock County passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the age of 46.  She was born February 1, 1968 in Houston, Texas to James and Joyce (Hoskins) Sutton.  In 2008 she graduated from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. Janet was the former CEO of CohesionForce, Incorporated in Huntsville, Alabama. She was married to Jesse Wyers. Janet served on various youth education boards and was involved in many community action boards and committees. She enjoyed gospel singing and was on the praise team at Restoration Church in Madison, Alabama.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jesse; sons, Josh Phillips of Chicago, Illinois and Aaron Phillips of Madison, Alabama; father and step-mother, James and Joan Sutton of Madison, Alabama; and mother-in-law, Margie Wyers.

Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce and brother, James Sutton, Jr.

Visitation will begin from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou with interment to follow at Idalou Cemetery.
