Janie Trevino

Janie De Leon Trevino was born August 12, 1942, to Brijido De Leon Sr. and Juanita Silvas De Leon in Chapman Ranch, Texas, Nueces County.  She married her husband of 53 years Fernando Trevino on July 26, 1968, in Abilene, Texas.

Janie was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, a loving Mother, Wife, and Friend to many.  She was a caring and giving person.  She touched the lives of many by sharing the word of the Bible as a Regular Pioneer in the Ministry.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Marvin De Leon Trevino of Lubbock, Texas.  Two Sisters, Beatrice D Leal of Midland, TX, Bernarda D Estes of Abilene, TX.  Four brothers, Juan De Leon of Tye, TX, Brijido De Leon, Jr. (Elida) of Ft Worth, TX, Adolfo De Leon of Abilene, TX, and Jose De Leon (Cyndie) of Cleburne, TX.  As well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Trevino and her parents, Brijido De Leon and Juanita Silvas De Leon.

Celebration of Life Services will be held later at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Via Zoom.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
