Jayden Derek Martinez

Jayden Martinez of Idalou, infant son to Xylina Hernandez and Julian Martinez passed away on Saturday, March, 8, 2014. He was born January 25, 2014. Those to cherish his memory are his parents; sister, Analia Hernandez of Idalou; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Janie Hernandez of Idalou; paternal grandparents, John and Esmeralda of Lubbock; and Luis and Julia Martinez of Idalou; maternal great-grandfather, Luis Reyes of Idalou; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou with rosary at 6:30 p.m.  Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at St. Philip Catholic Church with interment to follow at Idalou Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations are made to the Children’s Miracle Network, 602 Indiana Avenue, Lubbock, Texas 79415. The family would like to thank the PICU unit nurses and doctors at Covenant for the love and care they gave to our baby Jayden.
