Jessie Guzman

Jessie P. Guzman, 76, was born on November 22nd, 1947 to Connie P. Guzman and Benjamin Guzman.

He enjoyed starting his days before sun rise with a small cup of black coffee and working 7 days a week. His favorite thing to share was his knowledge that he had gained here on earth, driving semi trucks, listening to music and one thing he always said was “If you’re not working when the sun is shining, you’re burning daylight.”

Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and educating himself by learning new trades and skillsets. Mr. Guzman held multiple licenses and certifications and was truly a jack of all trades. On December 2nd, 2023 surrounded by family, Mr. Guzman was called home to be with the Lord.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his life long best friend and wife Dorothy Perez and 3 children. 2 Daughters, Jessi Guzman-Ramirez and son in law Luis Ramirez, Jennifer Guzman-Sterling and son in law Lucas Sterling, a son, Andrew Flores and wife Marissa Flores, 11 grandchildren; Javier, Hezekiah, Royce and Remy, Bella, Levi and Loki, Jacob, Zaiden, Abram and Uriyah, 1 brother Rudy Guzmán Sr. and 5 sisters, Guadalupe Esqueda and husband Omar Esqueda, Isabel Adame Hernandez, Susy Jo Torres and husband Henry Torres, Delfina Moya, San Juanita Nichols and Lovelia Hererra and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by both parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers and a grand baby. 

A memorial service for Jessie will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 10AM at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
