Jesus "Jessie" Lopez Ramirez

Jesus "Jesse" Lopez Ramirez of New Home passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the age of 57.  He was born October 7, 1957 in Tahoka to Isabel and Simona (Lopez) Ramirez.   Jesse married Patty Herrera in 1979 in Lorenzo.  He worked in the heating and plumbing industry and served as a deacon at Iglesia Bautista Templo in Lubbock.  Jesse enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patty, and son, Nick Ramirez both of New Home; mother, Mona Ramirez; six siblings; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Isabel, and one son, Steve Ramirez.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Iglesia Bautista Templo with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m.   Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Iglesia Bautista Templo with interment to follow at Nevels Memorial Cemetery in Tahoka.
