Jimmy Ray McMillan

Tahoka

Jimmy worked at Lyntegar Electric for 34 years until he retired in the year 2000. He was a lifelong resident of Tahoka where he served as a volunteer fireman, was a member of Lion's club and also elected city councilman.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janey; sons, Dennis and Kurt; daughter, Kimberly Harris; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Katie Akin and Linda Markum.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee McMillan, Ella Marie McMillan, and Nell Pearson; brothers, Edward, H.L., Carl Henry, and Jerry; and grandson, Cody.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Sweet Street Baptist Church with Chaplain Mike Davis and Rev. David Earnest officiating.
