Jimmy Williams, 80, of Wolfforth, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Mr. Williams was born on December 30, 1941, in Dumas, Texas, to the late Roscoe Willis Williams and Nola DeLayce (Bryan) Williams.
Jimmy was a truck driver, based out of California, and was a member of the local Teamsters union there. He loved to travel, visiting historic monuments, going to the mountains and was a member of the Escapee’s RV Club. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Williams of Arizona, three grandchildren, and very close friends, Mary and Jackie Speer of Lubbock, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Williams, and one son, Ronnie Williams in 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, 7457 W. Lake Road, Abilene, TX 79601. Services are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
