Josue Ramirez

Josue Madrigal Ramirez, 74, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. He was born Thursday, July 22, 1948, to Francisco and Antonia (Madrigal) Ramirez, in Sabinas, Mexico. Josue worked for University Medical Center, Lubbock, for 33 years; he was of the Pentecostal faith, and attended church at Emmanuel Worship Center, Lubbock. Josue enjoyed watching football, listening to music, and playing his saxophone; most of all, he loved the Lord and his family.

Josue was preceded in death by a son, Ariel Ramirez, his father, Francisco, and a brother, Ariel Ramirez. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Juanita (Cordero) Ramirez, a son, Adrian Ramirez and his wife Britanie, his granddaughters, Gabriella, Leila, Landyn, Liviana, and Mila; his grandsons, Ford, Joshua, and Prince; a great granddaughter, Marcela, his Mother, Antonia, and his sisters and brother, Anna, Ruth, Irma, Elena, and Ruben.

Josue’s family will honor his life at 5:00PM on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Emmanuel Worship Center, 1102 70th St. Lubbock. Josue’s family extends a special “Thank You” to all the Ramirez family and to Emmanuel Worship Center. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes, Lubbock.
