Julia Irene (Nance) Iturrino (65) passed away August 5, 2022. She was born September 7, 1956, to Tommie Lee and La Juan (Whitehead) Nance in Lockney, TX. Julia attended and graduated from Lockney high school; she then graduated Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree and furthered her education at North Texas University, graduating with a master’s degree in Library Science. Julia was a research Librarian for Texas Tech University for 30 years.

A few words from one of the granddaughter’s: “I remember when my brothers and I, or just me, would stay the night with her; we would wake up, or she would wake us up how she always did, and ask what we wanted for breakfast. She always made the best breakfast. Days like that felt like home and I will never forget that feeling.”

Julia was preceded in death by her mother, La Juan Nance and a brother Ronnie Dalton Nance. Those left to cherish her many memories are her daughters, Anna Lisa Iturrino and Carmen Irene Iturrino, her father, Tom Nance of Brownwood, TX, a sister Deborah Woodlock of Lago Vista, TX, 2 brothers, Tom Nance, Jr of Brownfield and John David Nance of Fort Myers, FL. And her grandchildren, Brendan Stinson, Britani Stinson, Ethan Stinson and Danica Rinehart.
