Julie Ann Taylor passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. She was born to Robert Joseph and Juliana P. (Wittliff) Taylor, November 20, 1983, in Sacramento, CA. Julie graduated High School from Abilene Cooper. She was a Christian at heart and enjoyed playing "handbells," Julie played the handbells for the national anthem for the Texas Rangers baseball game, the Texas Governors banquet, and the Abilene Aviators hockey game. She also competed in the special Olympics, enjoyed bowling, being around horses, and baking. Julie gave 18 years of service to United Supermarkets.
Julie was preceded in death by her grandmother, June Kukral. Those left to cherish her memories are her father and mother, Robert and Juliana; a brother, Levi Taylor; a grandfather, Alan Kukral, a grandmother Donna Covington-Wittliff; grandparents Dan Wittliff and Manda Rash.
Julie’s family would like to extend a special “thank you” Jasmine Finch, Jasmine Walker, Janequa Bryant, Daybreak and the Daybreak nursing staff, Hospice of Lubbock, and the staff at United Supermarkets 537. Empower.
A memorial gathering, to honor the life and accomplishments of Julie, is scheduled at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway, for July 26, 2022, at 2:00pm. Charles Lindsey will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes.
