Kathy Owens

Kathryn Sue Owens, 80 years old, of Tahoka passed away on January 11, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1941, to Cleo and Oliva Mae Petty in Ada, Oklahoma. She was a Commercial Lines Insurance Representative for over 30 years in Pecos, Odessa, and Midland, Texas. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids dearly and she always had that extra place in her heart for all the extra kids that were around. They would call her their Mom or their Nanny and knew they were always welcomed and loved. She loved and adored her family and friends with her whole heart and cherished every moment with each one of them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Oliva, three brothers, James Petty, Johnny Petty, Larry Petty, and one sister, Linda Petty, her daughter Sandra Kay Croteau and her grandson, Derrik Scott Poitevint.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Owens, one sister Clara Jo White and her husband Allen. One daughter Pamela Hilger and her husband Don Hilger and a son in law Ray Croteau. Two beautiful granddaughters Tara Harrison, Kelsi Hilger, a grandson Trystan Hilger, and one grandson in law, Mike Harrison. She was constantly surrounded by an adorable great granddaughter, Trinity Harrison and four very awesome grandson's, Sage Poitevint, Daxyn Arce, Drew Harrison, and Jaxton Harrison as well as many nieces, nephews and several adopted daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters.
