Laura Timmons

Laura 'Denise' Timmons was born on May 4, 1964, to Doris and F.L. Timmons in Lubbock, TX. 

When Denise had her daughters, Ali and McKenna, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother. Denise excelled at propping up her children and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives even while overcoming her own adversity. As a young adult she won her battle with a malignant brain tumor and was able to recover and spend more time with her family. Aside from her family, Denise found joy in reading, traveling, and diet coke. 

Denise is survived by her mother Doris, her brother Gary, her two daughters Ali and McKenna, her granddaughter Carter, her beloved aunt Dale and uncle Carlton, and Aunt Jimmie and a myriad of family and friends. Denise was predeceased in death by her father, F.L. Timmons. 

The family of Laura Timmons will honor and celebrate her life with a memorial service at 11:00AM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Lonestar Cowboy Church, 1309 E FM 1585, Lubbock, TX 79423. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery, 15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423. . Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
