Leonardo Gonzales

Leonardo Gonzales, 62, of Lubbock, Texas passed away April 29, 2023.  Leonardo was born December 29, 1960 in Muleshoe, Texas to Ramon and Elvira (Vela) Gonzales. In 1985 Leonardo married Rosa Baeza. He was a member of Trinity Church.

Leonardo was a car salesman for many years until his retirement in 2017. He loved his family dearly. In his spare time, he enjoyed horseback riding, and anything to do with horses. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Leonardo’s memory include his wife, Rosa Baeza; son, Juan Gonzales; siblings, Emelda Azua of Sudan, Texas, and Rey Gonzales of Lubbock, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Leonardo was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Christopher Gonzales.

Visitation for Leonardo will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 with a prayer service starting at 7:00 P.M. in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Immaculate Conception, 805 E Hickory Ave, Muleshoe, TX 79347.
