Lillie Amaya Rico

Lillie Amaya Rico of Lubbock went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the age of 50.  She was born March 18, 1964 in Lubbock to Federico and Maria (Salazar) Amaya.  Lillie graduated from Estacado High School and worked as a caregiver.  She married Richard Rico on September 25, 1993 in Lubbock.   She was a member of Church of the Harvest Assembly of God.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard, and children, Eilda Pacheco and Seff Rico, as well as siblings, Ernest Amaya, Mary Juarez, Fred Amaya, and Rebecca Placencia, all of Lubbock.  Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Erlinda Amaya; and step-son, Richard Rico, II.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes with the family receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
