Linda Gibson

Linda Marie Davis Gibson, age 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by all her family. She was born on May 18, 1939, in Lubbock, TX, to the late Leroy and Edna Davis.

She married Kent Gaylon Gibson on March 28, 1963 in Tahoka, TX. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Linda was always there when they needed her. She touched the lives of every person with whom she came in contact. Her smile and laughter could bring sunshine to every room she entered.

Our holiday gatherings not only meant so much to our mother, but also created such precious memories that will remain in our hearts forever. She provided a sanctuary for every type of animal that needed love. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Marni Goff and husband John of McKinney, TX; Lauri Gibson and Greg Honor of Dallas; Three sons, Chad Gibson and wife Sally of Lubbock, TX; Brett Gibson and wife Kelli of Grassland; Kurt Gibson of Grassland, TX; Five grandchildren Brittany and Garrett Goff, Luke Gibson, Coby and Chris Campbell; and sister Dixie Davis Miller of San Augustine; and nephew Jason Miller, his wife Anne and their sons, Sam and Nate of Spokane, Washington.

For those who would like to attend: there will be a Graveside Service at Grassland Cemetery in Grassland, TX, held at 3:00pm, January 6th, 2023. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Beyond Faith Healthcare.
