Lisa McClellan

Lisa Kay McClellan, 66, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on February 1, 2024. She was born February 18th, 1957 to Verne and Evelyn McClellan in San Antonio, Texas.

Lisa was employed at Covenant Medical Center for over 40 years and described herself as a "lifer". During her career she worked as a unit secretary and then as a payroll assistant. She thoroughly cherished her job and work family.

Lisa enjoyed being with friends and family, especially for a good game night. Her passions included sewing, quilting, and knitting along with various other arts and crafts. She was also an avid cat lover.

Lisa loved life and felt her world complete when she welcomed her son, Ryan, into this world. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping, and going on many other adventures.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Anna McClellan of Pine Bluff, AR, Edward and Bertha Porter of Smackover, AR, her parents Verne and Evelyn McClellan of Lufkin, Tx, and her beloved cats Molly and Jingles.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ryan and Genea McClellan of Lubbock, Tx, brother and sister in law Joe and Hope McClellan of Lufkin, Tx, sister Janet McClellan of Lubbock, Tx, and grand daughter Reagan Cantrell, who she adored. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and neighbors.

Memorial services will be held at Combest funeral home Friday February, 9th at 2pm.
