Lisa Beth Pruitt

Lisa Beth Pruitt, 72, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 16, 2023.  She was born on September 24, 1950, in Crosbyton, Crosby County, Texas, to the late W. A. Townsley and Annadelle (Kirksey) Townsley.

She attended Lorenzo High School, graduating with the senior class of 1967.  She also attended West Texas University, Texas Tech University and South Plains College.

Lisa was an avid Star Trek fan, and a mystery novel buff of Agatha Christie and D. R. Meredith.  She loved to work puzzles and was a baton twirler in her earlier years.  She worked as a TV scheduler for a local television station before retiring.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include a son, Sam Black of Lubbock.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A. M. on Monday, June 26, 2023, in the Ralls Cemetery in Ralls, Texas.  Marcy Ventle will be the officiant.  Final rites and interment are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
