Loveta Belle Pritchard

Loveta Belle Pritchard of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the age of 81.  She was born November 30, 1931 in Lubbock to the late Homer and Annie Belle (Cavett) Wright.  Loveta attended Lubbock High School, went on to graduate from Jessie Lee’s Hair Design Institute, and worked at Five Point Beauty Salon.  On July 24, 1948, Loveta married John Roy Pritchard.  Just shy of their 58^th wedding anniversary, he preceded her in death on June 8, 2006.  Loveta was an active member of Trinity Church and the Prime Timers.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mike and wife Tiffny and Jimmy and wife Lori, all of Lubbock; two sisters, Connie Eckles and Jane Ann McCartor and husband Darryl, all of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Heather Bastian, Michael John Pritchard, Desiree Pritchard, Alex Pritchard, Jarrod Pritchard, and Jeffrey Pritchard; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Hollar, Justin Hurst, and Skylar Pritchard; one great-great-grandson, Zander Hollar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Trinity Church with T. L. Garrett presiding.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
