Luisa Cervantez Trevino

Luisa Cervantez Trevino passed away November 23, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. She was born November 25, 1954, to Reyes and Aurora (Esparza) Cervantez, in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Tahoka High School in 1973. Luisa married Gilbert Trevino, February 16, 1974. To this union, they were blessed with 3 daughters, Brandy, Bridgett, and Cindy.

Luisa worked Pedro’s Tamales for 29 years; where she was a plant manager and received awards for food and safety. Luisa enjoyed Facebook, shopping, and watching her Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, she was a Chistian at heart, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with and taking care of her family. Her family will remember her for be a “wise-cracker.”

Luisa was preceded in death by her father and mother, Reyes and Aurora, her sisters, Benita Dela Rosa and Amelia Cervantez, a granddaughter, Janelle Sanchez, and a grandson, Ethan Alvarado. Those remaining to honor her life and cherish her memories are her husband, Gilbert Trevino, her daughters, Brandy Trevino (fiancée, Andrae Sebastian), Bridgett Trevino, and Cindy (Brenae) Trevino, a brother, Jose Cervantez, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Trevino family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff at Covenant Medical Center, the Trevino family, and all her friends.

A memorial service, to honor and celebrate the life of Luisa Trevino, is scheduled for 11:00AM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Encounter Grace Church 101 E. Tulane St. Lubbock, TX.
