Lydia Smith

Lydia Elaine Smith, 63, passed from this life September 27, 2022in Lubbock, TX. She was born October 28, 1958, in Spur, TX, to Allen and Theresa (Burgess) Smith. She obtained an associate of applied science in early childhood care. Lydia worked as a childcare provider. Lydia was of the of the Christian faith, she loved her grandkids, enjoyed serving others and was fond of sewing.

Lydia was preceded in death by her father and mother, Allen and Theresa, and a brother, Chuck Smith. Those left to cherish her memories are: 2 daughters, Rachea Brock of Lubbock, Shavonne James) Gowens of Ralls; 5 grandkids: Madeline, Brock, Brice, Burke, and Emerson; a son-in-law Chris (Lan) Holmes of Lubbock.

A memorial service, to honor and remember the life of Lydia Smith is scheduled for 10:00AM on October 1, 2022, at the Crosbyton Methodist Church, Crosbyton, TX. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes.
