Lynda Parkerson

Lynda Kay (Snead) Parkerson, 67, of Lubbock, passed away from her earthly home on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. She was born on November 10, 1955 in Levelland, Texas to Welda Joann Claude. She was later adopted and raised by her father, Doyal Edward Snead.

She will best be remembered by her love for serving others. Lynda selflessly served at her church, Green Lawn Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member. She worked in the Blessing Center and helped to organize meals for families who lost loved ones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Stephen Parkerson; siblings, Patricia Kelly, Theresa Williams, Clayton Snead, Sharon Snead, Dianne Yelvington, Wayne Snead, Randy Snead, and Christine Beadles; special family friends, Kenneth, and Jana Stephenson; and numerous extended family members and friends.  Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Ray Parkerson of Lubbock and her parents Doyal and Welda Snead of Levelland.

A celebration of life service will be held at Green Lawn Church of Christ, on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2:00pm.  Dale Mannon will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Green Lawn Church of Christ Blessing Center.
