Mack P. Hernandez

Mack P. Hernandez of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the age of 64.  He was born June 27, 1950 in Fentress, Texas to Macario and Juanita (Perez) Hernandez.  Mack worked was a glazer for K K Glass Company for over 34 years.  He married Marisela Fernandez on January 29, 1971 and they were members of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 43 years, Marisela; children, Mel Hernandez, Nancy Hernandez, and Nelly Hernandez, all of Lubbock; siblings, Jesus Hernandez, Richard Hernandez, Gloria Subia, Olga McCormick, and Mary Rangel, all of Lubbock; and five grandchildren, Michael, Sabrina, Ryan, Brandon, and Brittny Hernandez.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joe and Tony Hernandez, Guadalupe Rangel and Dora Hernandez; and brother-in-law, Stanley McCormick.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
