Maguire Joseph Vogel, a beacon of joy and laughter, left this world on December 23, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas, at the young age of 22. He was born on February 6, 2002, in Plano, Texas to Ty Vogel and Melinda Herrera Vogel.
A man with dreams as expansive as the Texas sky, Maguire was currently navigating his journey as a Nursing student at Covenant School of Nursing, aiming high to become a flight nurse. He made his mark as a Med Tech and caregiver, always ready to lend a hand to those in need.
His education journey took him from Allen High School, where he graduated with the class of 2020, to Texas Tech University, where he found himself from 2020 to 2023, no doubt balancing books and the thrill of building PCs and gaming like a champ.
Maguire was not just a student and aspiring nurse; he was a family man to the core. Whether he was helping family and friends with anything car-related or tackling odd jobs that needed fixing, he was always game. Those who knew him would say he had a natural knack for tinkering—whether it was building cars, motorcycles, or even a makeshift fortress out of spare parts just for fun! And when he wasn't elbow-deep in grease, you could spot him at the park, juggling fatherhood with flair, showing his son the wonders of the world.
A connoisseur of community, he loved diving into car and bike meets, revving engines and swapping stories with fellow enthusiasts. Maguire's personality was larger than life; he had a zest for everything he touched and an unshakeable bond with his family. He was one of those rare souls who could bring laughter to a serious moment and warmth to a cold day.
Maguire was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his son, Luka Joseph Vogel and longtime love, MaKayla Capp; father, Ty Vogel; brother, Gehrig Vogel; grandparents, Fred and Cindy Vogel, uncle, Brandon Vogel and a whole community of riders, other family members and friends.
As we celebrate Maguire’s vibrant life, we remember him not for the days he left us but for his laughter that echoes through our hearts, his spirit that shines brighter than any star in the Texas sky, and the love he sprinkled around like confetti. Here's to adventures beyond the horizon, where he will undoubtedly find new roads to travel. Rest easy, Maguire—play hard, build strong, and keep the adventure alive wherever you are!
