Martha Marin Perez

Martha Marin Perez of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the age of 73.  She was born February 8, 1941 in Floresville, TX to Manuel and Jesusa (Rangel) Marin.  She married Manuel Perez on February 8, 1963. Martha was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Diana Perez and Elisa Torres and husband Tony all of Lubbock; sons, Juan Marin Perez and wife Debra of Midland, Armando Marin Perez of Lubbock, Richard Marin Perez and wife Julie of Odessa and Robert Marin Perez of Lubbock; brothers, Juan Marin, Joe Marin, Manuel Marin Jr., Ricky Marin, Lorenzo Marin and Tony Marin all of Lubbock; sisters, Gloria Gatica, Veronica Rodriguez and Olga Martinez of Lubbock; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel; brother, Jesse Marin and sister, Simona Vargas.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday,  June 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with interment to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
