Melinda had a heart for missions, family, friends, children, animals, and was always ready to help anyone in need. Melinda enjoyed rock climbing, scuba diving, jewelry making, animal care, traveling, games, and being an aunt.
Melinda was preceded in death by Iris Avery Walston. Those left to cherish her many memories are, her parents, Mike and Joanne, of Lubbock, a sister, Cassandra (Jarod) Walston, of Chesterfield, IL, a brother, John (Jessica) Hill, of Aubrey, TX, beloved nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved cat, “The Dude.”
