Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother Minnie Lee White, left our world on June 2, 2022. Minnie Lee was born in Clifton Texas May 20, 1928 to Richard and Sallye Horn. Minnie was very creative and used her talents to make her home her own. She was a seamstress extraordinaire, beautiful quilter, furniture decorator, pottery maker. She was an entrant in the Miss Senior Texas pageant in 2000 with showing her beautiful quilts as her talent. She made all of the gowns she wore. She got real pleasure in making clothing for herself, her kids and made beautiful clothing for her collection of Barbies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Jean Robbins, Joy Wilson and Richard Horn Jr., grandson Tommy White and great grandson Ricky White.
She is survived by her 3 children, Johnny White and wife Sandy White of Wolfforth Texas, Lisa Murdoch and husband Gordon Murdoch of Arroyo Grande, California and Steve White and wife Yue Yan White of Wolfforth, Texas. Also grandkids, Jeremy White, Casey White, Derek White, Cameron Murdoch and Andrew Murdoch, great grandkids, Shawn White and Harper White. Finally great great grandson Morgan White.
Minnie requested a simple cremation and will be buried with her parents at Smith Bend Coon Creek Cemetery in Bosque County. A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
