Nancy Ann Weatherford

Nancy Ann Weatherford, 34, of Lubbock, passed away suddenly at such a young age on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Nancy was born on May 1, 1990, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late William Gene Weatherford and Martha (Valdez) Weatherford.

Nancy was raised in Lubbock and attended Lubbock High School, where she graduated with the senior class of 2007.

She was such a loving soul, loved going out with friends, spending time with her children, traveling and taking pictures. She previously worked as a medical nurse’s aid and had worked at the Montford Unit as a Staff Sargent and correctional officer.

Nancy leaves behind her four children: Hannah Delgado, Sara Delgado, David Lerma and Paul Garcia, all of Lubbock; her brother, Daniel Saldana of Lubbock; her sister, Ashley Saldana of Lubbock. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A time of reflection and visitation for Nancy will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 12 Noon until 6 PM at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway, next to Combest Family Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
