Norma Kaye Harrison, 75, of Lubbock passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on April 29, 2023. She was born on July 16, 1947 in Morton, TX. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1964 and attended South Plains College with study focus in business. She is survived by brothers Clay Harrison and Ray Harrison as well as a daughter Chyrel Moore, a granddaughter Kaytlan Washburn and great granddaughter Tayler Washburn. She has numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was a deeply spiritual person doing missionary work in Mexico with Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. She worked at Texas Tech University Health Science center where she was a coordinator of internal medicine for many years and retired. She was a longtime member of the Lubbock Lions Club. Kaye was an eloquent writer of poetry, letters and stories. She enjoyed crafts and jewelry making in which she was very skilled and poured love into everything she made. Nothing brought her more pleasure than to create something out of nothing to give of herself. She created beautiful jewelry and couldn’t wait to share it with family and friends. Kaye was a lover of animals and above all, Loved Jesus and cherished her family and friends. Kaye would go above and beyond herself in order for her family and friends to prosper and be happy. She was the matriarch of the family and will be missed.
Kaye is proceeded in death by her dad and mom Leon and Gladys Harrison.
