Ofelia Reyes Miranda

Ofelia Reyes Miranda of Lorenzo, passed away January 27, 2024, in Lorenzo, Texas. Ofelia was born in Runge, TX to Demetrio and Josephina Reyes on June 27, 1944. 

She married the love of her life Eusebio Miranda on June 24, 1962 in Luboock, TX. Together they raised six children. She was a member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church. She loved to play bingo, poker, and croquet. She also enjoyed watching her novelas. She enjoyed spending time with family. More than anything she loved being a momo. Her face always beamed with joy at the sight of all her grandchildren. 

Ofelia is proceeded in death by her parents Demetrio and Jospehina Reyes, six brothers, and four sisters. A Daughter Erlinda Miranda, Grandson Jason "Chach" Miranda, and Great Grandaughter Olivia Lane Vasquez.

She is survived by her Husband Eusebio Miranda. Her three sons, Alfredo Miranda and Wife Eva Miranda, Samuel Miranda and Judy Miranda, and Robert Miranda and Sydney Torrez all of Lorenzo. Her two daughters, Esmeralda Rodriguez and Husband Mauricio Rodriguez, and Lucia Timmins and Husband Mike Timmins all of Lorenzo. Her three brothers, Cruz Reyes, Fidencio Reyes, and Elias Reyes. Her four Sisters, Eloisa Reyes, Gracie Reyes, Gloria Romero, and Manuela Reyes. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Combest Funeral Home in Lubbock on February 2, 2024 from 5:00-8:00PM. Rosary will take place at 6:00PM.

Funeral Services will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Church on February 3, 2024 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Lorenzo Cemetery.
