Patricia Edens

Patricia Kay Edens passed away January 14, 2023, in Lubbock, TX. She was born June 7, 1951, to Davis and Patsy (Kirk) Edens, in Abilene, TX. Patricia graduated in 1969, from Monterey High School, Lubbock.

Patricia was an antique dealer and a homemaker. She was a very caring and compassionate person. Her most recent years were devoted to private in-home caregiving. She held memberships in the Junior League, Midland, and Delta Beta Social Club, McMurry University, Abilene. Patricia was a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, decorating, interior design, gardening, baking, and above all, she loved caring for her family and her friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Davis Edens, and a sister, Mary Nell Westmoreland. Those left to cherish her memories are, a daughter, Mauri Nicholson of Abilene, a son, Matthew Nicholson of Midland, her mother, Patsy Edens of Lubbock, a sister Davela Parker, and a brother Kirk Edens, all of Lubbock; four grandsons, Nicholson, Max, Austin, and Zane, as well as her much extended family.

The family of Patricia would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Doctors and Nurses who cared for her at University Medical Center, Lubbock.

The Family will hold a memorial service, to honor and celebrate the life of Patricia Edens, on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Neil Chapel, Carillon 1717 Norfolk, Lubbock, with Pastor Keith Tooley officiating.  Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes, Lubbock.
