Paul Balawijder

Paul Balawejder, 62, received the ultimate healing when he went to be with the Lord on May 28^th with his loving wife of 28 years holding his hand after a six-year battle with melanoma cancer.

He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Balawejder Sr, his mother Alice Balawejder, his paternal and maternal grandparents, his sister, Andrea Gormley, father-in-law Tom Dill, and most recently, their dog Lucy.

Those left to cherish Paul’s legacy are his wife, Cindy, and his pride and joy, his children, Adam, 26, and Amee, 24, and dog, Abbee; brothers and sisters Stan Balawejder (Sis), David Balawejder (Denise), Jeanne Balawejder (Terry), Janet Young (Chester) and numerous nieces and nephews. He considered his daughter and son’s friends as his own children and his life long friends, Jack Brunson, Annette Blackmon, and Dolores Hernandez.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the “Paul Balawejder Memorial Fund” at the any of the Lubbock Branches of BBVA Compass Bank.
