Paul Nichols

Paul Nichols of Levelland passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the age of 72.  He was born June 6, 1940 in Munday, Texas to Earl Howard and Billie True (Hill) Nichols.  Paul attended Littlefield High School and worked as a truck supervisor for Key Trucking.  He married Judy Rice on June 7, 1958 in Littlefield.  Paul was a member of the Lubbock Bicycle Club and was an avid sports fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Tim Nichols and wife Djna of Lubbock; daughters, Meloney Pharr and husband Gary of Portland, Oregon and Suzette Morris and husband Jimmy of Levelland; brother, Charles Nichols and wife Tambra of Whitharral; sisters, Jane Hebison of Ft. Worth and True Ellen Nichols of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, and one grandson, Brandon Pharr.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Fellowship Hall at Second Baptist Church in Levelland.  Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, March 15, 2013 at Second Baptist Church.
