Paul G. Ozgunduz, 53, of Lubbock, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2022. Paul was born on March 31, 1969, in San Diego, California to Nuri Ozgunduz and Jean (Knoblock) Browning.
He attended and graduated from Monterey High School in 1989. He then attended Memphis State University, graduating in 1996 with a Business Management Degree.
Paul met Cyndi Johnson, and they were married on September 17, 2008, in San Diego, California.
Paul worked in cable management for over 20 years, the last 9 years here in Lubbock sub-contracting with Suddenlink. He loved motorcycle riding, his kids and his seven grandchildren. He was die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Chargers. Paul was a member of the Turning Point Community Church and was a Navy veteran.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Cyndi of Lubbock; four daughters, Amber Woods of Bakersfield, CA, Angela Johnson of Yuba City, CA, Shelbie Knabb and Torie Knabb, both of Lubbock; his mother, Jean Browning of Lubbock; his father, Nuri Ozgunduz of San Diego, CA three brothers, James Ozgunduz of Fayetteville, NC, John Ozgunduz of San Diego, CA and David Browning of Colorado City, TX, and seven grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 24, 2022, in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Visitation for Paul will be from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM, prior to the service on Friday morning.
