Ramona Joy Hallford, LUBBOCK- On November 25, 2022, Ramona went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Ramona was born on July 25, 1938, in Seymour, Texas. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Carl, for sixty years. Ramona was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and cheering for her favorites, Red Raiders, Rangers, Cowboys, Spurs, and grandchildren. She was an avid 42 and 88 dominoes’ player, but most of all, she served Jesus with her whole heart and was a daily example of Christ’s love to everyone she encountered. Ramona was a faithful member of Trinity Church for over 40 years.
Ramona is survived by her two sons, Perry (Holly) Hallford of Lubbock, Arthur (Brenda) Hallford of Lakeland, FL; and her daughter, Carol (Clint) Sheumaker of Lubbock, eleven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren (one on the way); one brother, Jesse (Anna Margaret) of Woodway, TX; two sisters, Rachel (Garland) Moore of Kelton, TX, and Carol Clawson of Wheeler, TX. Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hallford, and her sister, Clara Anderson.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, November 28, from 5:30-7:30pm at Combest Family Funeral Home in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Chapel in Lubbock on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00am with burial at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
