Randy Jackson

Randy Joe Jackson, 72, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born on May 19, 1950 in Lamesa, Texas to Edgar Joe Jackson and Betty Jean (Daniel) Jackson. Randy graduated from O’Donnell High School in 1968 before attending South Plains Junior College. After graduating, he worked as an engineer for Signode Strapping Company for over 30 years before retiring.

Randy loved to spend his time outdoors. Some of his favorite things to do included golfing, boating, skiing, and camping. If he wasn’t spending time doing these things, then he could be found riding on his motorcycle or traveling in his 5th wheel. Randy was full of talent and often displayed it in his woodworking.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Terri Jackson and Cammie Price; sister, Teresa Chapa (husband Adolph); granddaughter, Heaven (Jackson) Jones (husband Grant); and soon to be great-grandchild, Baby Boy Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar (Joe) and Betty (Jeannie).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations can be given to Lubbock Meals on Wheels 2304 34th St, Lubbock, Texas 79401.
