It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rico Cisneros, who left us too soon at the age of 37. Rico was born on April 15, 1987, in Lubbock, Texas to his loving mother, Victoria and father Raul Cisneros, and was a big brother to his sister Regina Cisneros.
A true momma’s boy at heart, Rico had an especially close bond with his mother, Victoria. Along with a loving relationship with his many, cousins, Tia’s and Tio’s which was built on deep love, affection, and countless cherished moments that will forever remain. Rico was known for his
infectious sense of humor, sarcasm, and larger-than-life personality and was the life of every gathering. He had a unique ability to make everyone laugh, often with his witty remarks and playful banter, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A true adventurer at heart, Rico had a deep love for cooking and trying new ethnic foods, always eager to explore new flavors and share meals with those he cared about. His family and friends were a central part of his life, and he was loved for his warm heart and his ability to light up any room with his presence. He passed away doing what he loved most—riding his bike, something that brought him peace, joy, and a sense of freedom.
Rico was a cherished son, brother, and friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a deep connection to those he loved.
