Robert Coleman Morgan

Robert Morgan of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the age of 64. He was born August 6, 1949 in Bexar County, Texas to Robert Frederick and Mary Louise (Coleman) Morgan. He attended Park College graduating Magna Cum Laude and was employed by Hewlett Packard as a software engineer until his retirement. Robert married Kathy (Howsley) Shires on December 18, 1999 in Liberty Hill, Texas. He was a man of strong faith, a loving husband, friend, father, grandfather and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Kathy; son Neal Morgan of Dallas, Texas ; daughter Lindsay (Shires)  Moore and husband Jeremy Moore of Kingwood, Texas; son Blake Shires and wife Valerie Shires of San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by one brother Chris Morgan of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; two sisters Carol Middlekoop of Richardson, Texas and Catherine Schurr of Alexandria, Virginia. He was known as "Pops" to nine precious grandchildren and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

His Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at a later date.
