Robert “Trey” Turner, 71, of Lubbock, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Trey, an only child, was born on January 23, 1953, in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas, to the late Robert Wedgewood Turner, II and Jo Ann (Williams) Turner.

He married the love of his life, Nancy Hall, and they were united in marriage on June 2, 1984, in Littlefield, Texas.

Trey was a foreman for Lee Lewis Construction for 22 years, until his retirement in 2021. He loved fishing, camping, golfing, and was a member of the Dart Association. Trey was raised in the Baptist faith, worshipping at Shadow Hills Baptist Church where he had been a member until the church dissolved. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife Nancy of Lubbock; four children: Reagan Cirilo and husband Kenny of Lubbock, Amanda Riveiro and husband Pedro of Lubbock, Craig Turner and wife Grace of Lubbock, and Sara Canales and husband Ben of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, David Turner and wife Regina of San Antonio one sister, Letisha Turner and husband David Delgado of Kyle, Texas. He also leaves behind seven wonderful grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Private services and burial will be under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Home.
