Roberto Ruel

Roberto Ruel, Sr., 75, passed away November 28, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. He was born July 15, 1947, to Reynaldo and Molina (Contreras) Ruel, in Pharr, TX. Roberto made his life as a Loving husband, father, and a master plumber; he was employed with Texas Tech for many years.

Roberto was preceded in death by his wife, Lupe Ruel, his parents, Reynaldo and Molina, and Rene Ruel. He is survived by 3 sons, Ricky Ruel of Lubbock, Roberto Ruel of South Carolina, Rudy Ruel of Shallowater, and a daughter, Rosalinda Ruel-Bobadilla of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren, Devin Ruel, JonDemi Rios, Christian Rios, Rudy Vincent Ruel, Mark Ruel, and Venessa Ruel, and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service, to honor the life of Roberto Ruel, will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, December 2, 2022, at Combest Memorial Chapel, Combest Funeral home 2210 Broadway, Lubbock.
