Rodney Dale Coston

Rodney Dale Coston, Jr. of Lubbock passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the age of 59.  He was born September 24, 1954 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Rodney and Doris Jean (Parrish) Coston, Sr.  He graduated from Malvern High School in 1972 and joined the military.  After honorable discharge, Rodney worked as an Air Traffic Controller for Lubbock International Airport.  He married Harriet Treadway on October 29, 1983 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 30 years, Harriet; three daughters, Megan McCrory and husband Nathan Uriah of Lubbock, Amber Hodges of Arkansas, and Meredith Cutair of Slaton; son, Matthew Coston of Lubbock; brother, Jerry Coston and wife Tina of Arkansas; sister, Cindy Talley and husband Randy of Dallas; and five grandchildren, Benjamin Hodges, Adam and Savanna Cutair and Serenity and David Covington.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church.
