Romelia Espinoza

Romelia Espinoza (86) passed away July 27, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. She was born June 15, 1936, to Felipe and Guadalupe Melendez (Tarin) Barron in Mexico. Romelia married Jose Espinoza in 1961. She raised their children while working as a waitress. Her greatest accomplishment was the love she shared with, while caring for, her 5 great-grandkids.

Romelia was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her many memories are, Myra Valdez, Sergio Espinosa, Ivan Espinosa, and Rosa Eunice Lujan.

The family would like to offer a special “thank you” to everyone who loved and cared for her. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes. Please share a memory you have of Romelia on the tribute wall.

I never left you; I watch you every day, I am always very near; I know deep in your heart you realize I am here. I watch while you sleep in your bed at home. I hear you when you speak to me when you are on your own. You cannot understand the reason why I have gone; but I will never leave you though you may not see me. We share an unbroken bond that will always be. Death will not keep us apart, for our love is forever. Just remember me in your heart, and one day, we will be together. Live your life and live it full; don’t waste a single day. Remember, I am always with you, every step of the way. I never left you.
