Ronald Shaw

Ronald Clair Shaw of Levelland passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on March 4, 1936, in Iowa to Cliff and Irma (Beasley) Shaw. Ronald grew up in Martinez, California where he graduated high school and went on to enlist in the United States Army where he served for four years. After honorable discharge in 1958, Ronald attended seminary in Littlerock, Arkansas and Bellflower, California. He was not only a student, but a teacher of Greek theology. He has spent his entire career preaching the gospel in many states including Rockford, Illinois, Redwater, Texas, Texarkana, Arkansas, and Martinez, California.

In November of 1966, Ronald married Betty Bell in Lubbock. After retiring they made their home in Midland before moving to Levelland.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 60 years, Betty; daughter, Rebekah Shaw of Lubbock; and sister, Wilma Lentz, of Hayward, California.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings: Phyllis Webb and Jim Shaw.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 801 Alamo Rd in Levelland.
