Ruben Vidales

Ruben Vidales of Lubbock, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the age of 51.  He was born April 11, 1962, in Lamesa, Texas to Jose and Eba Vidales.  Ruben graduated from Sands High School in 1981 and worked in construction and was a diehard fan of rock and roll and attended many concerts over the years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, and sister, Yolanda Abrego and husband Alonzo of Lubbock; three stepsons Gabriel, Nicholas, and Jake Gonzales; grandson Dominic Gonzales.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Vidales, Jr.  

Rosary will be held Tuesday, May 28 and Wednesday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, May 30  at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at the Dawson County Cemetery, Lamesa, Texas.
