Samuel Kennedy Brown IV was born September 23rd, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Samuel Kennedy Brown III and Betty Maxine Brown. Samuel passed from this life on December 22nd, 2023, surrounded by his family at his home. Samuel attended H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, TX. Samuel enlisted in the United States Air Force on June 29th, 1972. While stationed in Shatahip, Thailand in 1974, he met his wife, Aree Koompook. They married on July 30th, 1975. They moved from Thailand to the United States. Samuel was stationed at many different air bases throughout the United States. Samuel served during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Samuel was stationed in Lubbock, TX at Reese Air Force Base, were he retired from active service on November 30th, 1997 as a Senior Master Sergeant. Shortly thereafter, Samuel continued his service to his nation, by working for the United States Post Office as a Letter Carrier and Trainer. 

 

Samuel is preceded in death by his wife Aree, father and mother and sister Janine Brown. He is survived by his children Maree Amber Pricer, her husband Josh Lee Pricer of Oklahoma City, OK., daughter Laura Kathleen Bristow and her husband Benjamin Reece Bristow of Levelland, TX., son Samuel Kennedy Brown of Lubbock, TX. He is further survived by five grandchildren, Justin Kane Brown, Jay Kristopher Bristow, Bryan Michael Bristow, Kerstin Rayne Pricer, Lydia Dell Bristow, sister Gayle Porter and her husband Bode Porter of San Angelo, TX., John Brown and his wife Pam Brown of Dallas, TX., and by his extended family with the United States Post Office and his many friends. Samuel dedicated his life to the service of others and his family.
