Sandra Davis

Sandra Cooper Davis, 87, of Lubbock, Texas passed away March 5, 2023. Sandra was born November 9, 1935 in Colorado City, Texas to Charles and Nina Lee Cooper. She graduated from Colorado City High School in 1953, then went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education at Texas Tech University in 1957. Sandra was a teacher at Snyder ISD for many years.

Those left to cherish Sandra's memory include her daughter, Vicky Johnson Speed of Dallas, Texas; her son, Clay Johnson and Carla Nunley of Lubbock, Texas; granddaughters, Sarah Johnson Greene (Charles) of Dallas, Texas, and Shelby Johnson Ginsburg (Perry) of Fort Worth, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Marritje (Margot) Greene; and her extended loved ones, Kent and Nora Kingsbury and family, Joel and Joyce Rothman and family, Jerry Stugart and family, and many loved family and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; brother Charles Henry Cooper, son in law William “Bud” Speed; late husbands, Ken E. Davis and John Shupe.

A private graveside service will be held at Marble Falls.
