Sandra (Worley) Robb of Idalou passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the age of 73. She was born November 15, 1940 in Hereford, Texas to the late Noel E. and Carey LaVerne (Wilbanks) Worley. Sandra married Don Robb on December 30, 1960 in Hereford. She was very supportive in her children and grandchildren’s activities she also enjoyed spending time fishing as a family and cherished the times with Don. She worked as a secretary/administrative assistant for the DPS driver’s license, intelligence department and motor vehicle theft for about 30 years until she retired in 2002. Sandra was a member of the Contact Lubbock Helpline and she was active in the Young Homemakers Club. She also worked as the secretary in the mid to late 1970’s at the Idalou United Methodist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Don; two sons, Richard Robb and wife, Linda of El Paso and Berle Robb and wife, Lorainne of Lorenzo; one sister, Linda Mason and husband, Calvin of Clarksville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Brad Robb, Becky Derosette, Jason Robb, Brittany Robb and Matthew Robb; and six great-grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Idalou. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Idalou United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Idalou Cemetery.
