Sandra Reyes Villegas

Sandra Reyes Villegas of Lubbock died Friday, January 25, 2013 at the age of 64. She was born May 6, 1948 in Robstown, Texas to Candelario and Modesta (Reyes) Villegas.  Sandra was a certified nurse’s aide and a member of United Methodist Church de Nazarete.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Teresa Casarez, Rachael Rodriguez, Sylvia Martinez and Sandra Ambriz and husband Johnny all of Lubbock; three sons, Johnny F. Casarez of Austin, and Rudy Casarez and Xavier Rodriguez both of Lubbock; partner, Robert Lara of Lubbock; two brothers, Daniel Villegas of Lubbock and Joe David Villegas of Ft. Worth; five sisters, Tommy Nunez of Corpus Christi, Aurora Villegas and Mary Valdez both of Ft. Worth and Janie Garza and Emilia Villegas both of Lubbock; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Danny, Jimmy, and Anthony Casarez; and one daughter, Cynthia Casarez.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Combest Family Funeral Homes.  Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Alliance Church with interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
