Sharon Ann Haden

Sharon Ann Haden, 73, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Sharon was born on June 30, 1950, in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, to the late Robert K. Stanley and Anita Sue (Hewitt) Stanley.

She attended Monterey High School in Lubbock, graduating with the Senior Class of 1968.

Sharon met the love of her life, Gary Francis Haden, and they were united in marriage on January 9, 1971, in Lubbock.  Gary preceded her in death on July 10, 2023.  Upon Sharon’s passing, she is now reunited with her love in heaven.

Sharon was primarily a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children, and loved to spoil her two grandchildren.  She also was a Pharmacy Technician, and worked with her father for over 15 years, Robert K. Stanley, who owned and operated Reliable Pharmacy in Lubbock.  Sharon loved to do oil painting, sew, knit, work puzzles, and enjoyed lots of crafts and cooking.  Her favorite food to cook, according to her family, was anything she could cook with bacon grease.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include one daughter, Amy Harbin and her husband Kevin of Lubbock; two sons:  Tim Haden of Lubbock, and R. J. Haden and his fiancé, Jackie Cunningham, of Lubbock; one sister, Debbie Tucker and her husband Chad of Lubbock; two grandchildren:  Garrett Haden and Kaylee Harbin.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Robin Stanley.

Her family will be planning a Celebration of Life service soon.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
